Riot Has Released a New Champion: Aphelios, the Weapon of the Faithful

Riot has added a new champion to the game, the long-awaited edgelord himself, Aphelios, the Weapon of the Faithful.
On the surface, Aphelios seems like he might be one of the most complicated champions added to the game. Riot themselves refer to him as having “one of the highest skill ceilings in the game” on his champion kit primer, where they go through each and every one of his abilities. Riot Has Released a New Champion: Aphelios, the Weapon of the Faithful.
Rather than having four abilities like most champions, Aphelios eschews his third and replaces it instead with a weapon queue system. Aphelios wields five different weapons, each of which is cycled through as they run out of ammo. The weapons are as follows:
Calibrum, the Rifle: A poke/harass based weapon with extra range, Calibrum adds mark to enemies. This mark allows him to follow up with a basic attack from his off-hand weapon, which will also detonate other marks for bonus damage against the marked.
Severum, the Scythe Pistol: Severum is a more sustain-based weapon that heals for a portion of the damage it deals, converting the overhealing into a small shield.
Gravitum, the Cannon: Gravitum is more focused on utility than outright damage or lane-clear like the others are. Attacks with Gravitum apply a decaying slow to enemies, as well as rooting enemies affected by the slow.
Infernum, the Flamethrower: The flamethrower is, as you might expect, more focused on AOE/Waveclear than the other weapons are. Basic attacks with this weapon deal extra damage and explode into a cone behind the primary target, while the active ability spouts an AOE flame that then switches to your next weapon.
Crescendum, the Chakram: The chakram is close-ranged weapon that behaves similar to a boomerang, stopping Aphelios from attacking until it returns. Attack speed instead increases how fast the chakram returns to Aphelios.
As you can tell, there’s a lot going into the champion when the above is just the five weapons he can basic attack with. His ult, Moonlight Vigil, has a different effect depending on which of the five weapons you have equipped at the time.

Aphelios will primarily be an ADC, it seems, but given the massive variety in the ways that he can operate there’s a good bet that players will see him popping up all over the place. He’s out today, so expect to see a lot of players floundering around with his different guns and trying to figure out how exactly his overly-complicated kit works.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Is Just Okay, But If You Don’t Buy It You Don’t Get The Good Monkey Ball Games

Last month, SEGA and developer RGG Studio released Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. It’s an HD remake of a Nintendo Wii game released way back in 2006, though obviously, the remake doesn’t feature the same motion controls that the Wii offered.
The remake does offer “modern visual aesthetics” and new modes, like Time Attack Mode, complete with leaderboards. There are unlockable costumes. You can play as Sonic the Hedgehog. This is all well and good, and any Monkey Ball is better than no Monkey Ball, but if you’re going to do an HD remake of a beloved franchise, why choose an entry that nobody really cared about? Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Is Just Okay, But If You Don't Buy It You Don't Get The Good Monkey Ball Games.
It is true that any Monkey Ball is better than no Monkey Ball, but even game director Masao Shirosaki freely admitted that Banana Blitz was nobody’s favorite entry in the series; he bestowed that honor among the first two titles in the series.
According to Shirosaki, they chose to remake Banana Blitz due to time and budget constraints. If they didn’t have the time or the budget to remake another, more popular game in the series, then that’s that, but it’s certainly a questionable strategy to put out a game knowing that fans aren’t nuts about it and then tell them if they don’t buy it, they might not get the game that they truly want.
Was waiting until they had the proper resources to remake one of the popular titles simply not an option? That would’ve been much more of a sure thing. As it stands, it feels like fans are being thrown the bare minimum.
The developers who worked on the title no doubt did so out of passion and love for the game. It’s not their fault that SEGA was so short on time and money that they had to settle for one of the more lackluster titles because it was faster and cheaper to do so. The developers in question, if given the option, would likely rather remake one of the original titles.
It’s also important to note that “if you don’t buy this, you won’t get the better game” is not the official stance of SEGA. It is, however, the reality of the current situation. If Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, which released to mediocre reviews, doesn’t sell well, SEGA won’t be remaking any of the Super Monkey Ball games we actually want.

Ashley Tisdale Plays Shag, Marry, Kill With Former Disney Costars Zac Efron, Dylan And Cole Sprouse In Hilarious New Video

Ashley Tisdale played the game shag, marry and kill on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Ashley Tisdale Plays Shag, Marry, Kill With Former Disney Costars Zac Efron, Dylan And Cole Sprouse In Hilarious New Video.
The actress was given three of her former Disney co-stars to choose from, and her answers were quite surprising. Tisdale’s choice of who she would shag, marry, or kill out of Zac Efron, and the Sprouse twins has caused quite the debate.
Tisdale starred with Efron in the High School Musical franchise. She co-starred with Dylan and Cole Sprouse in their hit sitcom, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. It was a juicy question, for sure.
Are you kidding me? You picked the twins and Zac? This is so brutal, man,” the Carol’s Second Act star expressed to host Andy Cohen after a caller asked the question.
It took a while for Tisdale to answer the question, but eventually, she gave in and played the game. In the end, she stated she would shag Cole, marry Dylan, and kill Zac. All of her answers were a bit shocking to Cohen, who wanted to know why she chose to marry Dylan over his Riverdale star brother.
“Yes! He’s such a good guy.” Tisdale said of Dylan.
One caller decided to keep asking the actress about her former Disney co-stars, bringing up the rumors Tisdale did not get along with actor Lucas Grabeel. The two starred in High School Musical franchise together, but rumors ran ramped that they did not like each other at all during filming,
Lucas and I didn’t get along at first, because when we were screen testing, I was giving him line readings. And that’s not an actor thing to do. And I think I do become a lot like the character, and I think he thought I was really like Sharpay. And it wasn’t until we wrapped that he was like, ‘Oh, you’re not that person.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah.’ But probably the first giving him line readings at the screen test, I was like, ‘I want the last line, okay? So, this is what I’m going to say,” she explained.
Ashley Tisdale had a tough choice to make when it came to who she would shag, marry and kill out of Zac Efron, Cole Sprouse and Dylan Sprouse. Cohen, as well as the live audience on his Bravo show, were quite surprised by her answers. What did you think of her choices?
